You can also swim with your dog during normal swim times. You will swim well away from the normal swimmers, with easy access via the slipway. All humans must wear buoyancy aids, they recommend wetsuits for humans & buoyancy aids for your pup to support their spine. These are available to hire or you can even buy from the shop.

Hub On The Beach is a welcoming seaside venue where dogs are very much part of the family! We love having four-legged visitors and aim to make both you and your dog feel completely at home. Dogs are welcome on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch steam railway. Check the timetable as it's weekends only (and half term) until Easter weekend 2025. Dogs travel free. Free parking when you take the train and End of the Line restaurant at Dungeness is dog-friendly (do check if there are specific areas when you are there). Or hunt out dog-friendly The Britannia Dungeness. Dungeness Beach is dog-friendly all year round. Enjoy!
